Shift Engineer (Days & Nights)
Central London
£55,000 per annum
4 on 4 off – Days & Nights (12-hour shifts)

We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Shift Engineer to join the engineering team on a high-profile commercial office building in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern, well-maintained environment with cutting-edge plant and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
*
Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance across building services systems
*
Respond to faults efficiently and professionally, minimising downtime
*
Maintain and monitor HVAC, lighting, fire alarm, BMS, and other critical systems
*
Liaise with tenants, contractors, and site management to ensure high service standards
*
Keep accurate records via CAFM system and ensure compliance with H&S procedures
*
Assist in small works and project support when required
Requirements:
*
City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
*
Experience working in a commercial building or office environment (essential)
*
18th Edition (for electrical candidates) highly desirable
*
Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive attitude
*
Able to work 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights
*
Good communication and customer service skills
