We're searching for a dedicated and reliable Shift Manager to oversee the afternoon shift (2pm–10pm) at our busy BP petrol station, which includes a Londis convenience store and a hot food service area. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a Shift/Duty Manager role within a fast-paced retail environment where your leadership and experience will make an immediate impact.
As a Shift/Duty Manager, Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:

Overseeing the retail operations, including the forecourt, convenience store, and hot food service area, ensuring everything runs smoothly
*
Leading and supporting a small team to maintain high standards of service, organization, and teamwork in the retail setting
*
Taking responsibility for hot food prep and service, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction
*
Managing retail stock levels, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth shift handovers
*
Ensuring all retail operations adhere to health & safety and compliance procedures
What We’re Looking For in Our Next Shift/Duty Manager:

Experience in a similar retail or forecourt role is an advantage, but we’re happy to consider those with the right attitude and leadership potential

A natural leader who is confident in taking ownership of the retail operations and supporting a team
*
Comfortable in a high-energy retail and customer-facing environment
*
A reliable, punctual individual who thrives under pressure and is proactive in problem-solving
*
Drivers preferred, as our site is not easily accessible by public transport
