Shift Supervisor | Power Plant
Location: Grangecastle, Dublin
Salary: €60,000 + Benefits
Start Date: 30th June
Reports to: Plant Manager
Our client are seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to lead operations at a state-of-the-art power generation facility in Grangecastle. This is a key role overseeing the safe and efficient running of plant equipment, liaising with field and control room staff, and ensuring operational excellence across shifts.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and optimise plant process parameters
• Coordinate with field staff from the Control Room (CCR)
• Main contact for the National Control Centre (NCC)
• Oversee grid-related testing, inspections, and equipment status
• Lead shift teams, train Operators, and uphold safety standards
• Manage logs, consumables, inventories, and maintenance schedules
What We're Looking For
• Technical qualification in mechanical/electrical disciplines
• Experience in power plant operations or similar industrial facilities
• Skilled in electro-mechanical systems, tools, and inventory control
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities
• Comfortable with shift work and flexible hours
• Fluent in English and capable of interpreting technical documentation
