Full-time | £35,000 – £37,000 per annum (DOE)
4 on 4 off – Day Shift | Healthcare Plan | Company Pension

Our client, a major name in the food industry based in Rochester, is seeking a proactive and capable Shift Supervisor to lead and inspire a high-performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global business committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:
* Supervise daily shift activities to meet production targets and quality standards
* Motivate, train and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture
* Monitor KPIs, including safety, waste, efficiency, and absenteeism
* Ensure full compliance with site-specific quality, hygiene, and health & safety protocols
* Liaise with departments to verify material availability and eliminate inefficiencies
* Complete all shift documentation in line with BRC, ISO and internal standards
* Support continuous improvement and uphold best practices across the production line
What we’re looking for:
* Proven supervisory experience in a food production environment
* Packaging line and High Care (filling) experience is highly desirable
* Strong leadership and team development skills
* Knowledge of QMS, particularly BRC and HACCP standards
* Organised, self-motivated and quality-driven
* IT-literate and comfortable with shift reporting systems
