SHIPPING/EXPORT COORDINATOR***
On behalf of our local clients we are delighted to be recruiting an experienced Shipping Coordinator to join a busy export department. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to play a key role in supporting the smooth running of international shipments and air freight, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every stage of the process.
This is an office-based, hands-on, detail oriented role that requires strong administrative skills, excellent organisation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy environment. Full training will be provided on the in-house export management system, Export Master.
Salary £26.5K-£30K depending on experience
Key responsibilities for the Shipping/Export Coordinator include,
Process regular customer orders accurately using Excel
Match and file delivery notes, purchase orders, and invoices
Apply for shipping-related certificates (e.g. DEFRA, Certificate of Origin)
Enter invoices into the register and maintain accurate records
Prepare and process all required shipping documentation
Manage general administrative duties such as calls, filing, and correspondence
Liaise professionally with internal departments, suppliers, and external partnersAbout You
Previous office administration experience essential, ideally within logistics, shipping, or export
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs), Word, and Outlook
Experience with export or logistics systems (training provided on in-house software - Export Master)
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
A positive, team-focused attitude and the ability to work well under pressureDue to the nature of the role, applicants must be able to provide a satisfactory 5-year employment history and have no criminal record.
