Shopfitting Metalworker
£31,000K per annum
39 hours/week - Monday-Friday, between 06:30 and 16:30
Birmingham- Permanent opportunity!!
About the Role
We're looking for a skilled shopfitting metalworker to join our clients small, collaborative team. You'll produce custom-made architectural metalwork, including:
Shopfronts
Canopies
Staircases
Other bespoke metal structuresYou'll work with a variety of materials and machinery to meet specific client requirements.
Brass
Bronze
Aluminium
Stainless & mild steel (1.2-6mm thick)Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
Ability to read engineering drawings
Positive attitude
Good under pressure
Able to manage multiple jobs at once
Band saws (vertical & horizontal)
Pedestal drills
Welding and brazing (preferred but not essential)Benefits
