Job Opportunity: Shunter – Rugby (Swift Valley)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 13:00–22:00
Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour
Are you an experienced Shunter looking for a new opportunity in the Rugby area? We’re recruiting for a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our client’s team based in Swift Valley.
🔧 Role Overview: As a Shunter, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers around the yard, working closely with transport and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
Shunting trailers between loading bays and parking areas
Performing vehicle checks and reporting defects
Maintaining health & safety standards at all times
Communicating effectively with site staff and drivers💼 Requirements:
Valid Shunter or HGV Class 1 licence (preferred)
Previous yard shunting experience
Strong awareness of site safety and procedures
Reliable, punctual, and a good team player📍 Location: Swift Valley Industrial Estate, Rugby
