Job Description
A specialist UK tunnelling and underground construction business with extensive experience delivering complex infrastructure projects. The tunnelling division focuses on technically challenging works including tunnel boring, shaft sinking, sprayed concrete lining, microtunnelling and associated underground civil engineering.
The business has worked across major infrastructure sectors including water, rail, utilities, energy and transport, often delivering projects in demanding ground conditions and complex urban environments. It has a strong reputation for specialist tunnelling expertise, innovative construction methods, safety and the delivery of high-quality underground works.
Opportunity to work on major tunnelling projects using specialist equipment and techniques, alongside experienced engineering and construction teams.
As a shuttering Carpenter, you will be required to:
Formation of framework
Shuttering and bracing
Preparation for concrete pours
Reading and interpreting blueprints
Ensure Health and Safety regulations are followed at all times
Minimum Requirements:
Valid Blue CSCS card
NVQ Level 2 in Formwork
Ability to work as part of a team and to understand and carry out instructions
A good health and safety knowledge
A good attitude & strong work ethic
Be reliable, punctual, hardworking and maintain a professional attitude to all tasks
Confined Space training would be advantageousBefore You Apply
