Job Description

Security Staff to assist during your race day event. The event is a cycling event, being held in the streets of Cockermouth, staff will be required to marshal at the event, crowd control, maintain barriers, control designated barrier crossing points, conflict management, control vehicle access. Liaise with emergency services and event control. Be a physical, visible presence. Staff need to remain vigilant throughout the event, use HOT protocols and report to appropriate personnel. Manual handling could be required for team lifting of barriers. The event requires SIA licensed staff, for a race day event. The staff would be working under the supervision of our SIA licenced staff during the event. DATE : 19TH August 2026 Time: 9am to 5pm Attire: All black clothing - no logos. SIA on display at all times. Work Location: In person
