Job Description
SIMOPS Manager required for a major Offshore Wind Developer based in Poland
Responsibilities
Develop and mainten of the overarching SIMOPS strategy, aligned with the Construction Execution Plan, HSE Management Plan, Marine Coordination Plan, and regulatory requirements.
SIMOPS Matrix and Priority Rules.
Rolling Lookahead Schedules and Daily Coordination Outputs.
Review and approval of SIMOPS permits and associated SIMOPS Interaction Risk Assessments (SIRA), ensuring robust controls are in place.
Chairing and documenting daily and weekly SIMOPS meetings and daily offshore calls, issuing minutes, actions, and updated plans.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Close-out DocumentationRequirements
Minimum 10 years' experience in offshore construction and/or marine operations, with at least 5 years in a SIMOPS, Marine Operations, T&I, or Construction Management capacity.
Strong knowledge of offshore wind construction activities (foundations, WTG installation, cable lay, offshore substation, commissioning).
Proven ability to manage simultaneous operations across multiple contractors and vessels.
Competence with electronic Permit-to-Work (ePTW) systems, isolations, and SIMOPS risk assessment (SIRA).
Solid understanding of HSE management systems and emergency response requirements in offshore environments.
Experienced in vessel operations including DP, anchor spreads, heavy lifts, diving/ROV campaigns, and marine logisticsBefore You Apply
