We are recruiting on behalf of our civil engineering client for an experienced Site Administrator to join their team on a long-term Energy project based in Stornoway. This role offers flexibility to join on either a temporary or permanent basis and provides an excellent opportunity to be involved in a major infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the on-site project team
Maintain and manage document control systems and procedures
Coordinate incoming and outgoing communications, ensuring accurate filing and distribution
Support the team with timesheet processing, reports, and general project coordination
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments as required
Assist with procurement tracking, deliveries, and maintaining project records
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar Site Administrator, Document Controller, or Project Support role
Strong organisational and communication skills
Comfortable working in a site-based environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and document control software
Previous experience in the construction or civil engineering sector is highly desirable
Role Details:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday
Based on-site in Stornoway
Opportunity to join on a permanent or long-term temporary contract
Approx. three years of confirmed work on the current project
Competitive salary or day/hourly rate depending on engagement type
