Job Description
Do you have experience managing site operations on large-scale civil infrastructure projects?
Are you qualified with SMSTS and hold a valid CSCS card?
Are you ready to take the lead on one of the UK’s most complex and high-profile civil infrastructure projects?
The Opportunity
Due to significant expansion on a £600mn programme at Sellafield, we are looking for an experienced Site Agent to join our delivery team. This is a chance to work with a leading Tier 1 contractor in a highly regulated nuclear environment, where safety, innovation, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and programme requirements.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to achieve milestones.
Monitor progress against schedule and budget, reporting to the Project Manager.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards in line with Sellafield protocols.
Maintain accurate site documentation, including risk assessments and method statements.
Build strong relationships with client representatives and stakeholders.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Proven experience as a Site Agent or similar role on large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and project delivery in regulated environments.
Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
It’s great if you also have the following
Previous experience on nuclear or high-security sites.
Familiarity with digital project management tools.
Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

Based in Cumbria, this role involves working on a major infrastructure programme within one of the UK’s most secure and safety-critical environments. You’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering essential works that support the UK’s energy and environmental commitments.
