Responsibilities
As a Site Agent, you will:
* Manage and lead Civil Engineering site teams to deliver excellence on project objectives.
* Oversee a package of works on a high-profile project within the energy sector.
* Drive a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across all site activities.
* Effectively communicate with and support site supervisors and staff to ensure collaboration and team alignment.
* Plan, programme, and resource site works to meet the agreed timetable and milestones.
* Proactively resolve challenges, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.
* Foster an inclusive and collaborative working environment, recognising and leveraging the strengths of a diverse workforce.
Qualifications
Essential:
* Proven ability to lead the successful delivery of Civil Engineering site teams in a leadership role.
* Valid CSCS card applicable to the scope of the role.
* SMSTS qualification
* Demonstrable experience in ensuring Health & Safety compliance within a project.
* Willingness to travel across various project locations across South Wales
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor site teams, fostering a transparent and supportive work culture.
* Monitor progress on civil works packages, ensuring all milestone targets are met.
* Assess and manage site safety, adhering to company and industry health and safety standards.
* Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality expectations.
* Collaborate with the Project Manager to effectively allocate resources and address technical challenges.
* Attend and contribute to project and stakeholder meetings to deliver updates on progress and potential risks.
