Requirement: Site Agent - Bridges & Structures, Major Highways Project 
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Agent with a strong background in bridges and structures to join one of our top clients on a major highways project. This is an excellent freelance opportunity for a Site Agent who thrives on managing complex infrastructure works and is committed to delivering exceptional results. 
The Role: 
As the Site Agent, you will take overall responsibility for the delivery of the bridges and structures elements of your section of the project. You will manage all aspects of site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards. You will lead the team on site, coordinating subcontractors, resources, and technical activities to ensure successful delivery of bridges, retaining walls, and associated structures. 
Key Responsibilities: 
·Site Leadership: As Site Agent, take full ownership of site activities, leading your team and ensuring all bridges and structures works are executed safely and efficiently. 
·Project & Technical Management: Oversee all bridges and structures works to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and contractual obligations. 
·Cost Control: Monitor and control site costs, including labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors, ensuring the bridges and structures work stays on budget. 
·Resource Management: Plan, allocate, and manage all resources on site effectively, including specialist teams for bridges and structures. 
·Planning & Monitoring: Implement daily site programmes, track progress, and resolve any issues to keep bridges and structures works on schedule. 
·Health & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety policies, ensuring all structures works meet regulatory standards. 
Who We're Looking For: 
·Relevant Qualifications: HNC, degree, or equivalent experience in civil engineering or construction management. 
·Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of bridges and structures construction, with a strong understanding of site management processes and systems in highways or infrastructure projects. 
·Proven Experience: A track record of success as a Site Agent managing bridges, structures, or major infrastructure works. 
·Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate teams, manage subcontractors, and liaise with clients and stakeholders effectively. 
Rate: Dependent on experience.
