Job Description

My client are a specialist civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Agent to help deliver a major water infrastructure scheme in Bournemouth, with an immediate start available. This is an excellent opportunity to join a complex project involving caisson shafts, auger boring, sheeted pits, and associated heavy civil engineering works.

Site Agent Responsibilities:

  * Toolbox talks

  * Client liaison

  * Stakeholder liaison

  * Health and safety compliance

  * Ordering materials

  * Managing day-to-day site operations

  * Supervising subcontractors and site teams

  * Managing the delivery of caisson shafts, auger bores, sheeted pits, and associated civils works

  * Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to specification

  * Managing site documentation, RAMS, permits, and temporary works

  * Overseeing quality control, inspections, and as-built records

  * Supporting the Project Manager with programme delivery and client reporting

Site Agent Requirements:

  * Black or Gold CSCS

  * SMSTS

  * Previous experience managing water infrastructure or water treatment schemes

  * Experience delivering caisson shafts, auger boring, sheet piling/sheeted pits, deep excavations, or other specialist trenchless/tunnelling works

  * Strong civil engineering background

  * Knowledge of temporary works procedures would be advantageous

  * IT literate

  * Full UK driving licence
