Job Description

My client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join their team on a major Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Tunnelling Project.

Site Agent Responsibilities:

  * Lead and manage the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of HDD tunnelling works on site.

  * Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with programme, budget, quality, and health & safety requirements.

  * Manage Site Engineers, providing technical support and leadership throughout the project.

  * Ensure all HDD drilling, shaft construction, pipe installation, and associated civil engineering works are completed to specification.

  * Produce, review, and manage project documentation, including RAMS, ITPs, programmes, permits, and Technical Queries (TQs).

Site Agent Requirements:

  * Previous experience working as a Site Agent on HDD, tunnelling, trenchless technology, or major civil engineering infrastructure projects.

  * Strong knowledge of Horizontal Directional Drilling, shaft construction, utilities, and heavy civil engineering works.

  * Experience producing and managing project documentation, including RAMS, ITPs, permits, and Technical Queries (TQs).

  * Valid CSCS Card. SMSTS is essential.
