Job Description

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Agent to help deliver a major tunnelling and shaft sinking scheme in Oxford, with an immediate start available. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist infrastructure project, leading the delivery of complex underground civil engineering works.

Site Agent Responsibilities:

  * Toolbox talks

  * Client liaison

  * Stakeholder liaison

  * Health and safety compliance

  * Ordering materials

  * Managing day-to-day site operations

  * Supervising subcontractors and site teams

  * Managing the delivery of tunnelling and shaft sinking works

  * Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to specification

  * Managing site documentation, RAMS, permits, and temporary works

  * Overseeing quality control, inspections, and as-built records

  * Supporting the Project Manager with programme delivery and client reporting

Site Agent Requirements:

  * Black or Gold CSCS

  * SMSTS

  * Previous experience delivering tunnelling and shaft sinking projects is essential

  * Strong civil engineering background

  * Experience managing specialist subcontractors and temporary works

  * IT literate

  * Full UK driving licence
