Site Agent - Highways Project

📍 Kings Lynn, Norfolk

🏗️ Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Agent to join a major highways infrastructure project in the Kings Lynn area. Working with a leading Tier 1 contractor, you will play a key role in the safe and successful delivery of a significant highways scheme, managing site operations from planning through to completion. 

The Role

Lead and manage day-to-day site operations on a live highways project.

Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

Manage subcontractors, direct labour and plant resources.

Coordinate construction activities including earthworks, drainage, structures and roadworks.

Monitor progress and provide regular reporting to the Project Manager.

Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality and environmental requirements.

Work closely with engineers, commercial teams and stakeholders to drive project performance.

Requirements

Previous experience working as a Site Agent, Senior Site Agent or Sub Agent on highways or major civil engineering projects.

Strong understanding of NEC contracts.

Experience managing earthworks, drainage, highways, structures or bridge works.

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.

Ability to lead site teams and manage subcontractors effectively.

Full UK driving licence.
