Job Description
We’re recruiting a Site Agent for a heavy civils and highways contractor who have secured work at Welborne in Fareham. The development is one of the largest private developments in the country and will boast 6,000 homes, schools, commercial space and green space which equates to almost 300 Wembley Stadiums.
The Site Agent will be responsible for a large highways package comprising of a new spine road, deep drainage, balancing ponds, roundabouts and bell mouths. This is the first of several phases with the potential of 5+ years at the development as the new village comes to life.
The contractor is a professional, slick business who specialise in projects like these across the South Coast. They have a local office in Hampshire and can offer progression into Senior Agent and Project Manager roles.
Site Agent responsibilities:
* Writing risk assessments and method statements
* Working with the commercial team to manage change and EWN
* Overall responsibility of health and safety
* Managing design and quality of the project
* Ensuring the project meets deadlines by managing the programme
