Job Description
Key Responsibilities
*
Help maintain school buildings, grounds, furniture, and fittings
*
Carry out basic repairs, DIY, and maintenance tasks
*
Support with daily cleaning, waste disposal, and emergency cleaning (e.g. spillages, gritting)
*
Assist with porterage, including moving furniture and equipment
*
Help ensure the security of premises – opening, locking up, and monitoring site access
*
Support regular health and safety checks and report hazards promptly
*
Assist with monitoring contractors and ensuring safe working practices
*
Work flexibly to meet site needs across a large, multi-level campus
About You
*
Experience with cleaning, maintenance, or handyperson work
*
Awareness of health and safety requirements
*
Reliable, practical, and able to work independently or in a team
*
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, working at height, and moving between multiple buildings
*
Honest, trustworthy, and committed to safeguarding and confidentiality
*
Willing to learn and undertake relevant trainingBefore You Apply
