Site-Based Project Manager

St Helens | £60,000-£65,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

An established contractor is seeking an experienced Site-Based Project Manager to oversee the delivery of construction projects valued up to £12 million.

The successful candidate will initially lead an Industrial Unit development in Merseyside  commencing in September, before progressing onto future projects within the Hotels, Care Homes, and Commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Manage projects from site setup through to completion and handover.
Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Monitor project progress and report regularly to senior management.
Maintain strong client relationships and lead site meetings.
Ensure compliance with all health & safety and statutory requirements.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering construction projects.
Experience managing projects up to £12 million in value.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to drive programmes and manage subcontractor performance.
