Job Title: Construction Site Cleaner (New Build Housing)
Location: Barnstaple
Pay Rate: £16.50 – £17.00 per hour
Job Type: Ongoing / Full-time (subject to site requirements)
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a busy new build housing site in Barnstaple. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing completed plots to a high standard, ensuring properties are clean, presentable, and ready for handover and sale.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out full plot cleans once all trades have completed work
Performing detailed sparkle cleans to show-home standard
Removing protective tape, stickers, and residue from windows, ledges, and sills
Cleaning internal surfaces including kitchens, bathrooms, floors, and fixtures
Ensuring all areas of the property meet quality and presentation standards
Reporting any issues or defects to site management
Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
Requirements:
Valid CSCS card (essential)
Previous experience in construction or site cleaning preferred
High attention to detail and pride in work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good timekeeping and reliability
