Job Description

Job Title: Site Supervisor Location: Lewisham Hours: 40 hours per week (5 out of 7 days including weekends) Additional: Participation in out-of-hours callout for emergency works Overview: We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Site Supervisor to join our facilities team. This role is key to managing and maintaining statutory compliance, managing permits, delivering minor works, and ensuring high standards of safety and service delivery across the site. The successful candidate will also support finance management, sustainability initiatives, and work collaboratively with Elevate partner teams. Driving Continuous Improvement. Key Responsibilities: Statutory Compliance: * Ensure all statutory checks and planned preventative maintenance tasks are completed and documented. Ensure this is evidenced within our CAFM system and Riskwise. * Ensure access to work permits to our sub-contractors, ensuring permits are issued, monitored, escalated into the right Appointed Persons and closed appropriately within timescales. * Collate and coordinate site audits and inspections, providing communication and follow-up with relevant stakeholders. Contractor Supervision: * Supervise contractors on-site, ensuring safe practices and health & safety requirements. * Validate the quality and completion of work before sign-off. * Collate and support the Key performance indicator measurement reports for the site driving continual improvement Site Operations: * Conduct void inspections and prepare spaces for re-occupation. * Complete meter readings and ensure accurate logging. * Perform Occupier Demise Inspections and report on findings * Support the sites emergency planning and major incident plan as required. Finance, Reporting & Sustainability: * Conduct monthly KPI and performance review meetings with your Contract Manager. Support our Partner Centre Operations Manager and Centre Director budget tracking, forecasting and cost control for works and maintenance spend. Managing Web Quote, updating the Extraneous works tracker and support our Contract Support in driving financial performance. * Identify and implement cost-effective solutions that support centre-wide sustainability goals (e.g., energy savings, material reuse). Emergency Response: * Participate in the out-of-hours callout rota for emergency repairs and urgent issues. Collaboration: * Work closely with other Elevate partners to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and foster a strong collaborative working environment. * Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to drive service excellence. * Support through collaborative effort the guest experience programme and values Maintenance & Minor Works: * Carry out small-scale maintenance tasks including but not limited to: * Painting and decorating * Minor repairs * Minor plumbing tasks (e.g. flush handle replacement, service isolation) * Ensure high-quality workmanship while maintaining site presentation standards. Requirements: Experience in a similar onsite engineering or facilities management role. Solid understanding of permit systems, compliance, and health & safety standards. Practical skills in basic maintenance, painting, and plumbing. Comfortable working with budgets and supporting financial planning for maintenance. Strong awareness of environmental and sustainability best practices. A team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
