Site Coordinator – Architectural Steelwork
Location: UK & Ireland (Travel Between Both Required)
Industry: Architectural Steel (Balconies, Balustrades, Facades)

I’m working with a specialist architectural steelwork contractor seeking an experienced Site Coordinator to join their team. This role will involve working across UK and Ireland to support the successful coordination and delivery of architectural metalwork installations including balconies, balustrades, facades, staircases, and related steel structures.
The Role:
As Site Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day site coordination across multiple live projects, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. You will act as the key point of contact between the site teams, project managers, subcontractors, and the client.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate daily site activities on architectural steelwork installations.
*
Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth site operations.
*
Manage logistics, site deliveries, and access requirements across multiple locations.
*
Maintain and monitor site records, permits, RAMS, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
*
Carry out quality checks, snagging, and report progress to project leads.
*
Ensure the correct materials and drawings are available on-site.
*
Attend coordination meetings, both on-site and remotely, as required.
*
Work between project locations in Ireland and the UK (expenses for travel, accommodation, and subsistence will be covered).
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Site Coordinator (or similar site-based role) within the architectural steelwork industry.
*
Experience specifically with balconies, balustrades, facades, and architectural metalwork.
*
Strong understanding of site processes, construction health and safety, and sequencing of trades.
*
Excellent organisational, communication, and coordination skills.
*
Ability to travel and work flexibly across both the UK and Ireland.
*
Full driving licence and valid right to work in the UK and Ireland.
