Site Electrician

Permanent

Location: Dewsbury with UK travel to sites

Basic salary: £41,600 to £47,840 basic dependant on experience

OTE - £60,000+

Overtime after 39 hours paid at time and a half

We are looking for an experienced Site Electrician to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis at our Bradford site.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established business operating within a COMAH-regulated environment, where safety, reliability, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.

The Role

As a Site Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault finding, repair, and inspection of electrical systems and equipment across the site. You will play a key role in ensuring plant reliability while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Essential Requirements

  * Proven experience working as an Industrial/Site Electrician.

  * Previous experience working on a COMAH or other high-hazard industrial sites.

  * City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.

  * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).

  * Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience on industrial electrical systems.

  * Good understanding of electrical safety and safe systems of work.

  * Full UK driving licence.

  * Desirable Qualifications & Site Tickets

  * The following would be advantageous:

  * ECS Gold Card.

  * CompEx Ex01–Ex04 (for hazardous areas).

  * CCNSG Safety Passport or ECITB Safety Passport.

  * IOSH Working Safely.

  * IPAF (MEWP Operator).

  * PASMA.

  * Confined Space Training.

  * First Aid at Work.

  * Experience with PLC fault finding, variable speed drives (VSDs), instrumentation, and control systems.
