Job Description

Carmichael UK is recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in the Northamptonshire area. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of one of the UK's most significant civil engineering schemes, delivering complex highways and drainage works for a leading Tier 1 contractor.

The Role

As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of highways and drainage packages. Working closely with the site management team, you will be responsible for setting out, quality assurance, technical compliance and supporting day-to-day construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out and surveying for highways and drainage works
	
Ensuring works are delivered in line with specification and design drawings
	
Managing QA documentation, ITPs and as-built records
	
Supporting subcontractors and site teams with technical guidance
	
Identifying and resolving engineering and construction challenges
	
Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are maintained on site

Requirements

Previous experience as a Site Engineer on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects
	
Strong background in highways and drainage works
	
Competent using surveying equipment and setting out techniques
	
Experience managing QA processes and site documentation
	
CSCS Card essential
	
SMSTS/SSSTS beneficial
	
Full right to work in the UK
