Site Engineer – Multiple Sites (York & Humber/Hull Region)
Residential Groundworks 
Start: ASAP
Duration: 4 months initially with potential extension 
Rate: £350 per shift 

My client, a well-established and reputable civil engineering contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work across multiple sites in the York and Humber/Hull regions on a range of infrastructure and groundwork projects.

THE ROLE:
As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects, taking full responsibility for all setting out duties across various sites. You will work closely with site teams to ensure works are carried out accurately, safely, and to specification.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•	Carrying out all aspects of setting out using appropriate equipment
•	Interpreting technical drawings and ensuring works are delivered in line with specifications
•	Providing engineering support to site teams and subcontractors
•	Maintaining accurate site records and as-built information
•	Ensuring quality control requirements are met
•	Supporting health & safety compliance on site

REQUIREMENTS:
•	Proven experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or groundworks
•	Strong setting out skills and proficiency with surveying equipment (e.g. GPS, Total Station)
•	Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
•	Full UK driving license and willingness to travel between sites
•	Excellent communication and organisational skills
