Site Engineer – Civil Engineering
Hayle, Cornwall
Long-term infrastructure project

An established UK infrastructure contractor delivering major flood defence and water management schemes is looking for a Site Engineer to join a project team on a major coastal infrastructure scheme in Hayle, Cornwall.

The company works closely with national environmental organisations to deliver flood resilience, tidal defence and pumping station upgrades across the South West.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Setting out and surveying works on site.

  * 

    Supporting delivery of civil engineering elements of tidal and water infrastructure projects.

  * 

    Assisting with QA documentation and site records.

  * 

    Coordinating with subcontractors and site management teams.

  * 

    Ensuring works are delivered to design specifications.

Requirements

  * 

    Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects.

  * 

    Experience with water, flood defence or heavy civils projects preferred.

  * 

    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

  * 

    Knowledge of quality assurance processes and site documentation.

Project Environment

  * 

    Coastal infrastructure schemes.

  * 

    Flood defence works.

  * 

    Pumping station developments.
