Job Description

Position: Site Engineer 
Region: Yorkshire & Humber
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 + £6700 Car Allowance + Package
Start: ASAP 

I have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to join a well-established regional contractor delivering a diverse portfolio of civil engineering and infrastructure projects valued between £500k and £12m across Yorkshire.

•	Projects typically include:
•	Highways and infrastructure schemes
•	Flood defense works
•	Bridges and structural works
•	Retaining walls
•	General civil engineering projects

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•	Carry out setting out and surveying for civil engineering works
•	Support the Site Agent and Project Manager with day-to-day site operations
•	Ensure works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications and programme 
•	Assist in the preparation and review of RAMS and site documentation
•	Maintain accurate site records, as-built information and quality documentation
•	Support the production of daily and weekly site reports
•	Assist with technical queries (TQs) 
•	Manage information flow between site and design teams
•	Monitor subcontractor works to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
•	Assist with temporary works coordination and site inspections
•	Ensure site works are delivered in accordance with H&S and Environmental standards

REQUIREMENTS: 
•	Experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering projects
•	Background in infrastructure, highways or general civils
•	Strong understanding of setting out and surveying techniques
•	Familiarity with AutoCAD, surveying equipment and engineering drawings
•	Knowledge of NEC contracts is beneficial
•	Strong communication skills and ability to work within a site team
•	Proactive and organised with a strong attention to detail

PACKAGE
•	£42,000 salary
