Job Description

Carmichael UK are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering water infrastructure projects across Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term programme within the water/wastewater sector, supporting key capital delivery schemes.

Duties will include:

Setting out for water and wastewater infrastructure works including pipelines, drainage, and associated civils
	
Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with design drawings, specifications, and ITPs
	
Maintaining accurate site records, including as-builts and QA documentation
	
Supporting delivery teams with technical queries, RFIs, and design coordination
	
Monitoring subcontractor works to ensure quality and compliance
	
Assisting with health & safety standards on site

Requirements:

Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on water or utilities projects
	
Strong setting out experience using Total Station / GPS
	
Experience on pipelines, drainage, or water treatment works highly desirable
	
Good understanding of QA processes and site documentation
	
CSCS card (essential)
	
SMSTS / SSSTS (advantageous)
