Job Description

We're recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major water treatment project in Portsmouth.
The Role
As a Site Engineer, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of water treatment and associated civil engineering works, ensuring activities are completed safely, accurately, and in line with programme requirements.
Site Engineer Responsibilities
  * Setting out for water treatment structures, pipelines, reinforced concrete works, and associated infrastructure.
  * Carrying out topographical and as-built surveys.
  * Producing and maintaining QA documentation and accurate site records.
  * Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works are completed in accordance with specifications and drawings.
  * Working closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager to achieve programme milestones.
  * Resolving technical queries with the design and commercial teams.
  * Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  * Monitoring engineering progress and maintaining accurate records of completed works.
Site Engineer Requirements
  * Previous experience as a Site Engineer on water, utilities, or heavy civil engineering projects.
  * Experience with reinforced concrete structures, drainage, pipelines, or water treatment infrastructure.
  * Competent in using Leica and/or Trimble surveying equipment.
  * Proficient in AutoCAD.
  * Strong understanding of setting out, engineering controls, and QA procedures.
  * Valid CSCS Card (essential).
  * Full UK driving licence.
  * SMSTS or SSSTS certification is desirable.
