📍 Brighton 💰 Up to £80,000 + Package 🏗️ Permanent

We're working with a leading UK main contractor to recruit an experienced Site Engineer for a major city-centre development in Brighton.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-profile projects across the commercial, residential, hospitality and mixed-use sectors.

The Role

As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of a large-scale construction project from site set-up through to completion.

Key responsibilities will include:

Setting out and surveying works on site
Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with programme requirements
Maintaining quality standards and site records
Reviewing drawings and resolving technical issues
Supporting health & safety compliance across the project
Assisting the wider project team with progress reporting and planning activities

Requirements

Previous experience as a Site Engineer on building projects
Strong setting out experience using relevant surveying equipment
Experience working for a main contractor preferred
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Relevant construction or engineering qualification
Valid CSCS card
