Job Description

Setting Out / Site Engineer – RAF Lakenheath
£350 - £400 per day | 12-Month Contract | 10-Hour Shifts

We are looking for an experienced Setting Out / Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure project at RAF Lakenheath on a 12-month freelance contract.

Working for a leading civil engineering contractor, you'll be responsible for delivering a range of infrastructure works, including roads, drainage and buried services, ensuring works are completed accurately and to programme.

Responsibilities:

  * Setting out for roads, drainage and utility/service installations.

  * Producing and checking as-built surveys.

  * Working from and updating AutoCAD drawings.

  * Maintaining accurate site records and QA documentation.

  * Liaising with the site management team to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

  * Proven experience as a Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering projects.

  * Strong background in roads, drainage and infrastructure works.

  * Proficient in AutoCAD.

  * Own laptop with AutoCAD capability is essential.

  * Competent using surveying equipment including Total Stations and GPS.

  * CSCS Card.

  * Right to work in the UK.

Package:

  * Up to £400 per day.

  * 12 months' work.

  * 10-hour shifts.

  * Immediate start available.
