Job Description

The Role

As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the works on site, ensuring engineering standards, quality, and safety requirements are maintained throughout the project.

Key responsibilities include:

  * Setting out and surveying duties using modern surveying equipment

  * Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements

  * Managing quality assurance and site records

  * Working closely with the Site Manager and project team

  * Supporting earthworks, highways, and general civil engineering activities

  * Checking levels, dimensions, and construction accuracy

Requirements

  * Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on highways, earthworks, or major civil engineering projects

  * Strong setting out experience

  * Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings

  * Experience using surveying equipment

  * Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience

  * CSCS card required

  * Strong understanding of health & safety and quality standards
