Job Description

Site Engineers | Multiple Roles Available | Life Science Build | Dublin | Above Market Rate Salary (Enquire for Details) MERITUS are working with a large construction organisation looking for experienced Site Engineers to join their Life Science Division working on complex pharmaceutical, clean room & laboratory builds on client site in Dublin. If successful you will be the lead technical authority driving quality, safety, and programme certainty across complex pharmaceutical and clean‑room builds. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will coordinate design, temporary works, lifting operations and digital QA processes, ensuring every structural and MEP interface meets stringent regulatory and client standards. You will also spearhead a multi‑disciplinary engineering team, interfacing daily with clients, consultants, and specialist supply‑chain partners. Your leadership will ensure seamless delivery from pre‑construction through to handover. Main Responsibilities: Direct the engineering function across CSA and MEP packages, creating Inspection & Test Plans and overseeing temporary works and lifting operations. Champion quality assurance by managing Non‑Conformance Reports, driving root‑cause analysis, and enforcing Sisk's ISO‑certified quality procedures. Coordinate design information and RFIs with consultants, ensuring clash‑free integration of concrete, steelwork, façades, cleanrooms and specialist services. Lead digital project controls using A‑Site, Dalux and Viewpoint, maintaining real‑time records for progress, permits, and health‑and‑safety compliance. Engage stakeholders through regular site meetings, aligning client objectives with programme milestones, budget targets, and sustainability goals. Skills Required: Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar) and at least 8 years of hands-on site experience, ideally with a strong background in pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or Life Science projects. Solid understanding of key construction elements such as concrete, steelwork, drainage, facades, and internal finishes. Experience managing CSA and MEP interfaces is essential, along with familiarity with temporary works and lifting operations. Comfortable developing Inspection & Test Plans, handling Non-Conformance Reports, and working within regulated environments that follow Irish Building Regulations, GMP, and FDA standards. Confident using digital tools like A-Site, Dalux, and Viewpoint. A working knowledge of BIM coordination and planning software (MS Project or Primavera) is a strong advantage. You'll be someone who leads from the front-able to manage teams, chair meetings, work closely with clients and design teams, and communicate clearly, both on paper and in person. Benefits: Above market rate salary (enquire for details) Company Car or Car allowance 26 days holiday (option to purchase 5 more) Company pension scheme Travel / mileage expense Got your attention?
