Job Description
Headcount Solutions are seeking to recruit a Resident Site Engineer for one of our multinational client sites in Limerick.
Role is in relation to Enabling works for the Foynes to Limerick Road (Including Adare Bypass) to supervise various Enabling works Contracts including Site Clearance/ Fencing/ Ground Investigation/ Environmental Surveys etc,
Responsibilities
* Assist with the administration of the Contract (Employer Design Public Works Contract PWC CF3) subject to duties delegated by the Employer’s Representative.
* This will typically include; draft progress reports, monthly valuations (Interim payment certificates), claims determination letters, response to Conciliation Statements of Claim, responses to RFIs and other contractor’s correspondence.
* Ensure that detailed reports, diaries and records (hard and soft copies), including photographic records, in relation to all aspects of progress of the works are kept and available for inspection by authorised personnel.
* Keep records of all information relating to delays, industrial disputes, adverse physical conditions and disputes with sub-contractors and landowners.
* Attend regular site meetings and ensure that proceedings are recorded for circulation to all relevant personnel.
* Keep any other site supervisory staff informed on matters which may influence their work.
* Be aware at all times of the duties of contractors, sub-contractors and others under Safety, Health and Welfare at Work legislation and in particular the provision of;
* A safe place of work and safe access and egress to a place of work
* A safe system of work
* Safe plant and machinery
* Appropriate personnel protective equipment
* Arrangements for the welfare of employees
* Liaise with statutory undertakers and stakeholders as required
* Carry out such further instructions insofar as they are deemed appropriate for the satisfactory administration of the Contract and other duties as may be assigned from time to timeBefore You Apply
