Job Description
A fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected contractor on a flagship Civil Engineering project, the first of its kind in 40 years. Our client requires Site Engineers with experience working for Earthworks contractors and knowledge of GPS/Machine Control plant.
Our client has a programme of work for the next 4 years and is recruiting for Site Engineers with Earthworks experience on a permanent basis.
Accommodation subsistence paid to employees who live over 100 miles from the project.
As Site Engineer you will:
* Have experience working on a construction site with site supervision experience
* Be able to set out and level using Total Stations/GPS/Machine Control
* Be fully conversant with the use of AutoCAD
* Reading and working from technical drawings and specifications
* Ensuring quality, safety, and programme requirements are met
Our client requires a Site Engineer with:
* HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering
* A good understating of CDM and construction health & safety protocols
* Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations
* Excellent communication skills
* Understanding of AutoCAD
* Previous experience with bulk earthworks
Salary and benefits include:
* £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
* Company vehicle and fuel card
* Paid annual leave, company pension scheme
* Subsistence is paid to people who live over 100 miles away from the project
