Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to support the delivery of a water treatment project in Bristol working with a respected civil engineering contractor. This is a key role on a long-term framework with ongoing works in the region.
The successful candidate will play a vital part in delivering site engineering duties across clean and wastewater infrastructure works, with a focus on quality, technical compliance, and efficient delivery.
Key Responsibilities
*
Setting out for civil engineering works including pipelines, RC tanks, chambers, and associated infrastructure
*
Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
*
Supporting site management in supervising subcontractors and suppliers
*
Completing as-built records, permits, and site documentation
*
Promoting and enforcing health and safety best practice on site
*
Liaising with project engineers, clients, and subcontractors
Requirements
*
Proven experience working on clean water / wastewater / WTW / WwTW projects
*
Proficient in setting out using GPS, robotic total stations, and AutoCAD
*
Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings and site procedures
*
CSCS card (essential)
*
SMSTS/SSSTS (preferred)
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Availability to start within 1–2 weeksBefore You Apply
