Site Engineer – Earthworks & Drainage Location: Newport Duration: 12 Months Start Date: ASAP Rate: £300 - £400 per day We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support an ongoing earthworks and drainage package on a major infrastructure project in Newport. Key Responsibilities: * Setting out for earthworks and drainage operations * Ensuring compliance with project specifications and design drawings * Conducting surveys and maintaining accurate site records * Coordinating with the site team and subcontractors * Quality assurance and reporting Requirements: * Proven experience in heavy civils, particularly earthworks and drainage * Competent in setting out using GPS and total station * CSCS card essential * SMSTS or SSSTS desirable * Right to work in the UK This is a long-term opportunity with an immediate start, offering competitive day rates depending on experience.
