Job Title: Earthworks, Drainage & Fibre-Reinforced Concrete Operatives (4–8 Month Contract)
Location: Barnet, North London
Rate: Competitive, DOE
Contract Duration: 4–8 Months
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking skilled operatives for a civil engineering project in Barnet, involving earthworks, drainage installation, and fibre-reinforced concrete works. This is a fixed-term contract for 4 to 8 months, with the possibility of ongoing work for high-performing individuals.
Key Responsibilities:

Conducting bulk earthworks and site preparation
*
Installing drainage systems, including pipework and manholes
*
Placing, finishing, and curing fibre-reinforced concrete
*
Ensuring all work complies with site safety standards and project specifications
*
Working closely with the site team to meet deadlines
Requirements:
*
Previous experience in earthworks, drainage, or concrete works
*
CSCS card (essential)
*
CPCS/NPORS for plant operators (preferred)
*
Ability to interpret site drawings and follow instructions
*
Strong understanding of health & safety on construction sites
*
Good communication skills and team-focused attitude
