Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to support ongoing works on a major steel structures project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced project with long-term potential, starting immediately
Key Responsibilities:
*
Setting out and surveying for structural steel installations
*
Ensuring alignment, levels and tolerances meet engineering specifications
*
Interpreting structural and fabrication drawings for site execution
*
Coordinating with fabricators, steel erectors and project managers
*
Maintaining quality control and accurate site records
*
Supporting HSEQ compliance and reporting
Requirements:
*
Previous experience working with steel frame or structural steel projects
*
Proficient in using total stations and relevant engineering equipment
*
Strong understanding of technical drawings and setting-out procedures
*
Valid CSCS card
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Able to work independently and manage site engineering tasks with minimal supervision
Preferred:
*
HND or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
*
SSSTS/SMSTS (advantageous but not essential)
Payment: Ltd Company or CIS
