Site Estimator, Leading Steel Manufacturer, £22.10 per hour, Immediate Start,

Site Estimator to join a leading steel fabrication and manufacturing company with a strong and growing order book. This business has been a key player in the structural and architectural steel industry, delivering high-quality projects across the UK.

Estimator’s Responsibilities:
As a Site Estimator, you will support the project delivery team by assisting with:
* Preparing and submitting accurate tenders and cost estimates
* Conducting detailed material take-offs
* Sourcing and ordering required steel and metal materials
* Liaising directly with main contractors and project stakeholders
* Contributing to cost planning, budgeting, and ensuring cost-effective procurement
* Maintaining clear documentation and supporting the commercial team as needed
Estimator’s Requirements:
* Valid CSCS Card (essential)
* Proven experience in estimating within a steel or metalwork environment
* Solid understanding of steel fabrication processes and materials
* Experience working on construction or engineering sites
* Strong organisational and communication skills – confident dealing with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
