Site Fitter and Shop Fitter
Installation Location: Wednesbury
Salary: £16-£20.00 per hour
Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter or Machine Operator looking for your next opportunity? Join our dynamic team in Leicester, where your expertise will be valued, and you’ll enjoy competitive pay and a supportive work environment.
Essential Functions:
Installation of Machinery, Kilns & Furnaces, Pipe and Automation systems on site and in the work shop
Assortment of site work including Installation & removal of equipment
Fabrication work on site and in the work shop
Examine work pieces for defects, and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
Knowledge/Skills/Expertise:
HS Education plus 2 years’ experience within Installation.
Able to read design drawings and plant layouts are essential
Possess a solid understanding of installation processes.
Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently.
Good verbal communication skills.
Full and clean Driving Licence
Environmental Conditions:
Availability to Travel and stay away from home on occasions.
Humidity level may be elevated during summer months
Exposure to certain contaminants, at times.
Exposure to loud noise levels, at times.
Required Certification:
CSCS or SPA Card is essential. To enable to get onto sites and to show good knowledge of Health and Safety
IPAF ( Preferred )
Fork Lift Truck Licence ( Preferred )
PASMA ( Preferred )
Any other certificates to show qualification and an understanding of the manufacturing and installation trade.
