Job Description
We are a well-established and growing company specialising in the installation of staircases, balustrades, glass balustrade systems, balconies, and secondary steelwork. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Fitter to join our team.
Job Role
As a Site Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation of various metalwork structures on-site. You will work as part of a team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard, on time, and in line with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation of staircases, balustrades, glass balustrade systems, balconies, and secondary steelwork.
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
* Ensuring all installations meet the required specifications and quality standards.
* Working effectively within a team and liaising with other trades on-site.
* Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Site Fitter or similar role within the metalwork or construction industry.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Experience with hand and power tools.
* CSCS card (or willingness to obtain).
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
* Ability to work at heights.
* Welding experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Full UK driving licence is preferred.
