SITE FOREMAN
COUNTY SLIGO
SALARY CIRCA £45K DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
As an established Principal Contractor, founded over 60 years ago, our client has an excellent reputation in completing high quality construction projects for a wide range of public & private clients, throughout Ireland. We have extensive experience in the housing, industrial, education, health, historical buildings and community sectors. We have successfully completed schemes ranging in value from £5 million to 40 million.
The Role:
They are actively seeking an experienced Site Foreman to join their team. If you have a proven track record in the construction industry and are driven to succeed, we want to hear from you. As a Site Foreman, you will play a key role in managing and delivering various projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
* Successfully manage projects from start to completion.
* Read and interpret Bills of Quantities, Drawings, and Specifications, and create orders accordingly.
* Coordinate with our Buyer to programme and order materials efficiently, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Organise and lead construction teams, subcontractors, and direct labour to achieve high standards and meet project deadlines.
* Manage Trades, plumbers, finishing.
* Effectively and efficiently communicate with Clients and Design Teams.
Experience/Skills:
* Proven experience in delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Possession of a CSR Supervisor Card and First Aid training.
* A clean Driving Licence.
* Ability to manage multiple trades and labour and delegate tasks effectively.
* Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
