Our client, a school with whom we have a longstanding relationship in the education sector, based in Cheltenham, has an exciting new opportunity for a Site Maintenance Worker to join their team on a temporary basis due to increased workload during the summer holiday.
The successful Site Maintenance Worker should have:
Previous experience in a similar maintenance role (Essential)
An understanding of health and safety guidelines
The ability to work independently on a range of practical tasks
Availability for the entire contract period (July-August)
In this role, the Site Maintenance Worker will be responsible for:
Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance tasks across the school (e.g. plumbing, painting, carpentry)
Conducting routine inspections of the site and equipment
Ensure health and safety standards are always maintained
Monitor heating, lighting, and other systems to ensure efficient operation
Our client is offering the successful Site Maintenance Worker a pay rate of £12.50 - £13 an hour dependent on experience level plus holiday pay.
