We are currently working on behalf of a well-established civil engineering contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of projects across the Stretford and Greater Manchester area.
Our client delivers a range of infrastructure and utility projects, working closely with major frameworks including works associated with water and wastewater infrastructure across the region.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to strengthen their site management team.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of civil engineering projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
You will work closely with Contracts Managers, engineers and operational teams to coordinate activities and ensure smooth delivery on site.
Key Responsibilities

Managing civil engineering and utility infrastructure projects
*
Supervising site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
*
Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards
*
Coordinating plant, materials and labour on site
*
Monitoring project progress and reporting to senior management
*
Maintaining site documentation and records
*
Liaising with clients, stakeholders and operational teams
*
Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering or utilities
*
Experience working on water, wastewater or infrastructure projects is highly desirable
*
SMSTS
*
CSCS Card
*
First Aid (preferred)
*
Strong organisational and leadership skills
*
Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively
