Job Description
My Client is looking for a site manager in the Epping area. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operatives, subcontractors, and site work.
You will be tasked with developing and implementing safety documentation, including Health and Safety Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.
Identifying training requirements for site personnel, liaising with clients through audits and progress meetings, and procuring materials using computer-based systems are essential components of the role. Additionally, you will notify your line manager of possible variations and maintain suitable contemporary records.
Compilation of documents and As Built records for handover files will also fall under your remit.
Location: Epping
Pay Rate: £400 per day
Skills:
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
Qualified to HNC/Degree Level in Construction, Civil Engineering, or an Electrical discipline
CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme
Experience in the construction and electricity industry
Competency to work in Substations up to 132kV (BESC)
Knowledge of NEC contracts
Understanding of current Health, Safety, and Environment legislation
Cost/Value reporting exposure
Excellent communication and liaison skills
Strong organisational and management capabilities
Certifications & Standards:
SMSTS
CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme
UK Power Networks Sub Station Entry (Desirable)
Temporary Works Supervisor
Full driving licence
