Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading main contractor on a long-term residential housing project in London.

The successful candidate will have a strong background managing internal works and finishes on residential or housing developments, with previous experience working for a main contractor.

Key Responsibilities

  * Manage internal works and finishing packages across the development.

  * Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.

  * Monitor quality, progress and productivity across the site.

  * Carry out regular inspections and ensure works are completed in line with drawings and specifications.

  * Coordinate with the wider site management and construction team.

  * Manage snagging and ensure outstanding works are closed out efficiently.

  * Maintain high standards of health & safety and site organisation.

  * Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to resolve any issues.

Requirements

  * Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor.

  * Strong residential / housing background.

  * Experience managing internals and finishing works.

  * Strong knowledge of new-build residential construction.

  * SMSTS.

  * CSCS.

  * First Aid.

  * Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  * Able to commit to a long-term freelance position.
