Your new company
A well-established forestry and land management organisation is seeking a Site Manager to oversee vegetation clearance works on a busy road near Pitlochry, Scotland. Known for delivering environmentally responsible solutions, they are preparing for a key roadside project starting in mid-November.
Your new role
Starting mid-November and running until the end of March, you will be responsible for managing site operations related to vegetation clearance. This includes coordinating sub-contractor teams, ensuring safety compliance, liaising with local authorities and stakeholders, and maintaining progress against schedule. The role requires strong leadership and organisational skills to manage a busy roadside environment safely and efficiently.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in site management, ideally highways or environmental works.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, particularly in roadside or high-risk environments.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage subcontractors and ensure work is delivered to specification and on time.
SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification preferred.
CSCS Required.
First Aid.
